An interactive and animated scientific demonstrator for atomic fusion company Proxima Fusion, to showcase their technology, bring it closer to people - and demonstrate how their fusion reactor will function and look like.
This scale model of the large reactor is showcasing the main components of this engineering marvel, while opening up the otherwise hidden magic: the plasma core.
A pulsing light installation is visualizing the complex process of starting and steady-keeping of the reaction inside the hulls - creating plasma at 100 Million °C!
First shown during Festival Der Zukunft 2026 at @deutschesmuseum Munich.
